Education is full of technology and opportunities to teach students. As educators, we are constantly being challenged to learn a new way to teach our students so that it is more engaging and meaningful to their learning experiences. While it is exciting to have all of these devices, programs, and apps at our fingertips, it can be a bit overwhelming. Everyday I see teachers exciting to put these tools to use but struggling for the time and information to make it all work. This blog will have tips for technology that will hopefully give you some quick answers to "What is that?" "How can I use it?' and "How will it help my students?"
Since technology is always changing and it is impossible for one person to keep up with everything, please post any comments or feedback that you are having with your own experiences. If we all work together, we can all learn faster in the ever changing world of technology.
Christine, great job on your first blog post! I can easily tell the purpose and plan for your blog is to help teachers and students to integrate technology into their school day. I especially like that you encouraged your readers to share and comment about their experiences so that you can all learn together. I think your blog will be very successful!
ReplyDeleteGreat first post! You sound very welcoming without being too wordy. Your tone is very warm as you invite others to tackle the huge world of technology with you! I hope to learn some great tech tips from your blog!
ReplyDeleteChristine-
ReplyDeleteI think you will find your blog very helpful to students and parent. I like how you invite them to respond or leave a question. You might be very busy responding to questions though...but that means your blog is being read!
Good job and good luck!
Very welcoming post! The two things that stuck out to me were the invite for your visitors to post comments (two heads are better than one!) and your question of "how will it help my students". Isn't that really the trick to this all? How will what we do in our classrooms impact students and their learning, both currently and in their future.
